And They're Off was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
This was the third Carnevale game Ezio Auditore had to complete in order to win a Golden Mask. In this game, Ezio had to complete a timed race, and winning required that he beat the record set by the previous contestant.
Dialogue
Ezio saw the game host for the third game.
- Host: Welcome, benvenuti (Welcome)! Are you ready to test yourselves with a game of speed and endurance? Many challenges lie in your path. The game is simple, but finishing it, near impossible! Start when you're ready. The first contestant to beat the course record is one step closer to the Golden Mask!
Ezio completed the course record with the fastest time and won the game.
- Host: The winner! You've proven yourself the fastest and strongest in Venezia! You are now one step closer to the grand prize!
Silvio Barbarigo and Dante Moro witnessed Ezio's success with disgust.
Outcome
Ezio won one of the four Carnevale games.
