Marcello Auditore

Marcello Auditore (October 1514 – unknown) was the son of the Mentor of Italian Assassins, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and his wife Sofia Sartor.

Born in October of 1514, Marcello had one sister, Flavia. Marcello lived with his parents and sister in the Tuscan countryside, and at times accompanied his mother to visit his aunt Claudia. He is also one of Desmond Miles' ancestors.

Trivia

  • Marcello is an Italian diminutive of the name Marcus, derived from the name of the Roman god of war Mars, and as such it is traditionally translated as "like Mars" or "warlike".
  • Prince Suleiman I introduced Ezio to Ahmet as "Marcello" to hide his true identity.
  • Marcello appears in the Assassin's Creed: Revelations novel, where he accompanies his mother and sister to the market where Ezio dies.
