Manhunt is a game mode within Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood's multiplayer. As all multiplayer games, it can only be played with the Gold version of Xbox Live. Each game lasts for ten minutes in playing-time, separated into two rounds of five minutes. At the beginning of a Manhunt game, the players are given a choice of either the first team or the second team; Team one hunts Team two during the first round, and vice versa in the second round
Starting Out
According to which team you choose at the beginning, the gameplay may be radically different. Each player has a preference of either being a stealthy hunter or hide.In player matches it may be that someone chooses a team different from their friends because they like to hunt first. The first person to join the team can choose which multiplayer character the entire team play as.
A unique feature of this mode of gameplay is how each round focuses on a single strategy: Hunting your prey alongside teammates, or hiding from the hunters by use of skill and abilities. Several users have taken advantage of this by communicating with their teammates in order to coordinate their attack or defending each other from the hunters. The key to Manhunt is communication and teamwork- no matter the score at any point in the game, the opposite team can always turn events around into a victory if the player is not careful.
