M.-O. Boudreault is an employee of Abstergo Entertainment, a subsidary of Abstergo Industries. They are a colleague of the subsidary's CCO Melanie Lemay and often exchanged correspondences with her.

In July 2014, Melanie sent Boudreault a series of emails concerning the use of memories from Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Ezio Auditore and Ratonhnhaké:ton in different Abstergo Entratainment products, despite previous market analyses having past on using them. Boudreault had concerns, but Melanie thought of reframing the memories in different ways, using Altaïr as the first of a series tentatively named "History's Hitmen", removing Ezio altogether and creating a virtual tourism feature set in the Italian Renaissance, and focusing on George Washington rather than Ratonhnhaké:ton.[1]
