Lucius Septimius using his flail

The flails used by Lucius Septimius were weapons that seemingly worked using Isu technology. The weapons were capable of grabbing and lifting people into the air, and paralyzing them in levitation.

Septimius, a member of the Order of the Ancients who worked as Julius Caesar's right hand man, acquired the weapons at some point between 48 BCE and 44 BCE. When Aya infiltrated the Theatre of Pompey to assassinate Caesar on 15 March 44 BCE, Septimius stopped and fought her using the artifacts. Despite possessing the weapons' powers, he was unable to overcome his adversary.

Trivia

  • Historically, use of the flail as a weapon didn't begin until the Late Middle Ages, making Septimius' use of such a weapon anachronistic.
