Amyris (died 431 BCE) was a priest working in the Sanctuary of Delphi during the 5th century BCE.

Around 431 BCE, Amyris and a group of other priests stole precious sapphires from the treasury, with the intent to sell the sapphires to someone in Desphina Fort. However, he also went to Korykian Cave, where bandits caught and killed him.[1]

Sometime after, tasked by her former mentor and friend Photios, now a guard at the Sanctuary, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the cave and found Amyris' remains, and a note directing her to Desphina Fort.[1]
