"The Apple has been put to rest, perhaps it would do you good to focus on painting. You seem to be doing decent work on this one."
―Ezio Auditore da Firenze remarking on the Mona Lisa.[src]

Ezio and Leonardo view the unfinished Mona Lisa.

The Mona Lisa was a painting by Leonardo da Vinci, which depicted a young lady.

Upon first seeing the work in progress in 1506, Ezio Auditore da Firenze remarked positively about the piece; however, Leonardo rebuked that she was "badly drawn", with an overdone, meaningless smile.

A little before his death, Leonardo gave the painting to his longtime assistant, Salaì.
