Leave No Man Behind was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
Bartolomeo d'Alviano asked Ezio Auditore to rescue his mercenaries that were captured during Silvio Barbarigo's attack.
Dialogue
Ezio followed Bartolomeo into his home, to which the latter was looking around frantically.
- Bartolomeo: Bianca! Bianca!
- Ezio: Is everything alright?
- Bartolomeo: What do you think?! Look at this place! And poor Bianca... if something's happened to her...
Bartolomeo looked behind a table and found a large sword.

- Bartolomeo: Ah-ha! Oh, my darling. Thank God you're alright. Ezio, meet Bianca. Bianca, Ezio.
- Ezio: Charmed...
- Bartolomeo: So, I know your name, but not why you are here.
- Ezio: I have... business with Silvio Barbarigo. I was told you could help.
- Bartolomeo: Ah! It would be my honor!
- Ezio: But it's going to require more than just the two - er, three of us to weaken his forces. How do you suggest we proceed?
- Bartolomeo: I'll go and ready my men for battle. While I do this, I'd like you to rescue those who were captured during Silvio's assault. I cannot, in good conscience, leave them behind.
- Ezio: Intesi (Understood). I will attend to it at once.
- Bartolomeo: Good luck out there, Ezio.
Ezio found the first of the mercenaries.
- Guard 1: What to do with this lot?
- Guard 2: Flood the cage, I say. Drown them all and be done with it!
- Guard 3: Silvio wants them alive. Thinks he can turn them to our cause.
- Guard 2: I wouldn't count on it. They're as loyal as they are stupid.
Ezio rescued the first of the mercenaries.
- Mercenary: Many thanks for the aid, friend! We'd like to fight with you - if you'll have us?
Ezio found more of the mercenaries.
- Guard 4: Your master's in chains and your company broken. Come tomorrow, you'll all be hanged!
- Mercenary: So be it! We are prepared to die with honor!
- Guard 4: Hah! The only things you'll be dying with are soiled breeches and broken necks!
Ezio rescued the mercenaries.
- Mercenary: We are with you friend! Only lead the way!
Ezio found the last of the mercenaries.
- Guard 5: Poor bastard. I heard Marco made him the way he is.
- Guard 6: And now he's been passed to Silvio. Like a dog.
Ezio rescued the last of the mercenaries.
- Mercenary: Let us join you! Together we will crush the Barbarigo!
Outcome
Ezio succeeded in freeing all of Bartolomeo's men.
Trivia
- Bartolomeo searching for his sword, Bianca, was alluded to in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, during which Bartolomeo searched for his wife, Pantasilea Baglioni. To this, Ezio remarked "Did you check behind the table?", referencing how Bartolomeo found his sword Bianca behind a table.
