Lavrentios the Long-Haired

Lavrentios the Long Haired (died c. 420s BCE) was a mercenary who operated in Greece in 5th century BCE.  

Biography

Lavrentios earned his nickname because people who knew him often spoke of his hair.  It is said that he was so proud of his mane that he would stop random people and ask them if they would like to see how soft it was.  

During the Peloponnesian War he crossed paths with the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
