Lambert Simnel (c. 1477 – c. 1525) was a pretender to the English throne, and a puppet in a plot by Templar Yorkists to take control of England.

Manipulated into pretending to be the Earl of Warwick to take over England, Simnel threatened the newly established reign of King Henry VII. However, his attempt failed and he was imprisoned.[1][2]
