Laches' Eternal Lance was a spear which belonged to the mercenary Laches the Eternal. A high-quality lance by any measure, the weapon served him well.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra claimed the lance, among other rewards, after she defeated Laches for a bounty.[1]

| Turns out Laches wasn't eternal. But with such quality, his lance might very well be. | ||||
Behind the scenes
Laches' Eternal Lance, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the commonly found Reinforced Javelin, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the Serpent of Serapis, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
