Laches' Eternal Lance was an epic spear of good quality that belonged to the mercenary Laches the Eternal.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra sought to claim the bounty on Laches' head and hunted him down, claiming the lance for herself.[1]
