Labib was a member of the Levantine Brotherhood of Assassins and the fighting instructor of both Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad and Abbas Sofian during their formative years.
Personality and characteristics
Labib seemed to be a combat-loving, oblivious person. An occasion where he showed such behavior was when Altaïr and Abbas started to fight after Abbas knew that his father had killed himself. The instructor almost let Abbas beat Altaïr to death in a fit of rage—not even stopping the fight after the furious apprentice drew blood.
