A khopesh is an Egyptian sickle-sword that saw wide service among Egyptian soldiers in antiquity. Bronze was among the alloys employed by the Egyptians for the construction of these swords. During the reign of the Pharaoh Cleopatra VII of the Ptolemaic dynasty, the Medjay Assassin Bayek utilized a khopesh.
