Khonsu was the god of the Moon in the ancient Egyptian pantheon. Along with his father Amun and mother Mut, they were known as the Theban Triad in the city of Thebes.
In around 38 BCE, a statue of Khonsu was stolen by a thief on behalf of a worshipper of Aten. It was later recovered by the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa, who found it in body of a slain bull.[1]
