Kasim was a Master Assassin of the Ottoman Brotherhood of Assassins, and a lieutenant under their leader Yusuf Tazim.
Kasim was one of the Assassins who first greeted Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Mentor of the Italian Assassins, upon his arrival at the Turkish Assassin hideout. He later warned Ezio and Yusuf of an impending Byzantine attack on the Assassin Dens located in Galata District and Grand Bazaar.
Trivia
- The name Kasim is derived from the Arabic word قسم (qasama), meaning "to divide, to distribute, to issue, to share".
