Karro was an Egyptian priest who served in Letopolis during the reign of Ptolemy XIII.
Biography
Karro was originally a priest who lived in the city of Memphis prior to 48 BCE. However, believing that there were too many priests in the city, and that there was a curse on the High Priest, Karro left, seeking to serve in other areas of Egypt. Having heard of Taharqa's reclamation of the sand-buried city of Letopolis, Karro desired to travel there and serve in his new Temple of Horus.[1]
However, along the way, Karro was captured by a group of bandits known as the Disciples of the Lioness, who held him captive in their Plesionhudor Hideout. He was eventually freed when Taharqa, alongside the Medjay Bayek of Siwa and a group of Taharqa's men led an attack on the camp.[1]
