Jörð was a giantess in mythology, as well as the mother of Thor.
Legacy and influence
In 2020, Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus and included a seax based on Jörð in the shieldmaiden's arsenal.[1]
