"I've heard all Danes are cursed with slow brains and fat tongues! Care to prove me wrong?"
―Fergal to Eivor, 873.[src]-[m]
Jungulf (left) and his associate Godrich

Jungulf was an Anglo-Saxon flyter who lived during the 9th century.

In 873, Jungulf and his associate Godrich were based in the town of Repton in Ledecestrescire, which was under occupation by the Sons of Ragnar. When the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir visited the town during her search for her brother Sigurd and the Ragnarssons, she found Jungulf and Godrich by the docks, the former taunting her people various insults. Eivor proceeded to challenge Jungulf to a flyting duel, which she won with her bet.[1]
