John de la Tour (unknown – 11 May 1745) was a member of the Assassin Order, and the first Assassin to arrive in the colonies of the New World.
Biography
John de la Tour resided in Acadia, a member of a wealthy family, and operated under direct order ot the French Assassin Council. In 1740, he met Achilles Davenport, whom had been sent directly to the Colonies in order to establish a new Brotherhood by his mentor Ah Tabai. Achhiles apparantly held a rather indifferent opinion of John De la Tour, reffering him as an 'arrogant bastard'.
In the same year, John accompanied by Achilles, arrived in Quebec in order to locate Mathieu Leveille a purchased slave from Martinique who had been believed to possess certain knowledge of the First Civilisation, however due to the cold weather the two arrived too late as the man eventually died from an unkownn illness during late September.
Trivia
- Connor could wear John de la Tour's Colonial Assassin outfit, which was unlocked with the Join or Die and Digital Deluxe Editions of Assassin's Creed III, or with The Hidden Secrets Pack.
- John also owned another outfit, one which was passed down to Achilles Davenport.
