Sir John Spencer Login (9 November 1809 – 18 October 1863) was a Scottish surgeon and the guardian of Maharajah Duleep Singh.
History
Following the arrest of Duleep's mother, the Maharani Jind Kaur, after the First Anglo-Sikh War, the ten year old Marahaja was placed in the care of Login and five years later they were sent to England in exile. In 1861, Login helped Duleep and his mother meet after numerous attempts to contact her were intercepted.[1]
