Jacques de Molay (English: Jacob of Molay) was the 23rd and last publicly recognized Grand Master of the Templar Order until he was executed and the Knights Templar went underground. He lead the Knights Templar from April 20, 1292 until 1312. He once owned possession of the Shroud, but passed it on to Geoffroi de Charney.[1]
