Jacques d'Amboise (between 1440 and 1450 – 1516) was the abbot of Cluny.

In 1485, Jacques converted the townhouse on the site of of an old Roman thermal baths and developed it into a luxurious guest house. The guest house later came to be known as the Hôtel de Cluny.[1]
