Julius Robert Oppenheimer (22 April 1904 – 18 February 1967) was an American theoretical physicist and professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley.
He is best known for his role as the scientific director of the Manhattan Project during World War II.[1] In 1945, Abstergo Industries authorized the tests for Oppenheimer's atomic bomb, intending to end the war with a nuclear explosion to bring the turmoil necessary to build a new world.[2]
