Isis was an Egyptian goddess, who was known to have been in possession of the Ankh, an artifact of First Civilization origin.
Biography
According to legends, Isis used the Ankh to protect the Egyptian pharoahs from harm. However, when her own partner, Osiris, passed away, Isis was overtaken by pain and grief.
She then used the Ankh to revive him, but it only brought Osiris back for one night. Using the opportunity granted to her, the two of them consummated their love for each other that night, causing their son Horus to be born later on.
