Isaac Newton (25 December 1642 – 20 March 1727) was an English physicist and mathematician. He published several of his scientific breakthroughs, the most famous of which is Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica. However he is also well known for his theories of motion and gravitation. The Templars used and influenced his works to make science and technology flourish in society to advance the Order's goals.[1][2]
