In Assassin's Creed 2, besides the purchasable "proper" weapons and the 2-handed weapons such as Spears and Halberds, Ezio Auditore da Firenze can use "improper" weapons.
- Brooms
- Hoes
- Rakes
- Fishing Poles
These can be picked up like 2-handed weapons. They are discarded once a fight is finished, or once Ezio sprints/climbs/enters a free running sequence. These weapons act mainly as hammers/maces. They even use the same animations and sound effects.
