During their time in London in 1868, Jacob and Evie Frye collected several illustrations, produced by the The Illustrated London News, and scattered throughout the seven boroughs of the city. Most of the illustrations featured either an event or item from the city's history, or a historic day-to-day scene.[1]
Upon her return to the city in 1888, and during her hunt for Jack the Ripper, Evie collected an additional ten illustrations.[2]
