Ian Edginton (born 1969) is a British comic book writer.
Biography
Early life
Ian Edginton was born in 1969 in Birmingham. In 1990, he made his first comic debut in Revolver Comic magazine with "God's Little Acre", co-written by Matt Brooker. Between 1991 and 2007, Edginton went on to create several comics for both Dark Horse and Marvel Comics, as well smaller comics for other American and British publishers. He would also regularly collaborate with Brooker (who wrote under the pseudonym "D'Israeli"). In 1998, he was nominated for the "Best Short Story" Eisner Award, for The Willow Warriors, and again in 2007 with his comic The Great Game being nominated for "Best Limited Series" and "Best Writer".[1]
Assassin's Creed
In June 2016, Edginton was announced to be writing Assassin's Creed: Last Descendants – Locus, a four-issue comic miniseries directly tying into the Last Descendants novel series by Matthew J. Kirby. Released later that year in September, the series was illustrated by up-and-coming artist Caspar Wijngaard.[2]
