lacopo de Grassi (? - 1500) was a high ranking Borgia guard in Rome and Captain of one of the five Borgia towers that ruled over the Centro district. Iacopo is the first Borgia Captain fought in the game.[1]
In January 1500, Ezio Auditore da Firenze took it upon himself to eliminate Iacopo de Grassi in order to destroy the overlord's tower. Iacopo, heavily guarded by his men, saw Ezio and challenged him. Ezio, however, killed all of Iacopo's men and eventually killed the Borgia Captain by throwing him into the scaffolding.[1]
Iacopo is also proud of his position as a Borgia Captain and, when fighting Ezio, will constantly shout at his men, saying that they are Borgia and are strong. Iacopo is very experienced in close range combat, able to counter and dodge most of Ezio's attacks. [1]
