A shield featuring two ravens, possibly Huginn and Muninn

Huginn and Muninn are the ravens of the god Odin in Norse mythology. They kept him informed of all the goings-on in the Nine Realms.[1]

Behind the scenes

The names of the birds are Old Norse: Huginn means 'thought' and Muninn means 'memory' or 'mind'.[2]
