History

It is known that many of the Auditore family have been Assassins, Including Giovanni, Ezio and at two of Ezio's ancestors (Domenico (the very first Auditore who invented the name for himself) and His son) (see the Auditore Family Crypt).

Auditore Villa

Main Article Auditore Family Villa

Domenico Built The Auditore Family Villa in the 1320's with a large amount of the money he had gained from Marco Polo's account. It was built to be a family home, a training ground for young assassin's and as a fortress to house assassins and protect Monteriggioni (although this goes against the guidelines set by Altair on making the Assassin order less conspicuous). He used his skills as an architect and an engineer to put several surprises to find around the Villa such as the Villa's underground vault.
