Hoplite Sword

The Hoplite Sword was a low-cost sword armed and used by the hoplites, citizen-soldiers of the ancient Greek world.

During the Peloponnesian War, the sword was commonly sold by blacksmiths and could be looted from chests and bodies.[1]
