The Hoplite Helmet was a type of helmet commonly worn by the hoplites, citizen-soldiers who made up the bulk of the militaries of ancient Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this helmet in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]
