The Altar of Poseidon was an altar in the Mount Ochi region on the island of Euboea, Greece. It was located in the southeastern part of the region and was dedicated to the Greek god of the sea, Poseidon.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place, finding that bandits had claimed it. She slew them and claimed their valuables.[1]
