Henry Lee III (29 January 1756 – 25 March 1818), was a cavalry officer in the Continental Army.
Lee intended to hunt down the British horseman Banastre Tarleton, but the Colonial Assassins believed Lee was out of his league, and diverted Lee's path into John Pyle's militia, leading to Pyle's Massacre.
