Helsinki is the capital and largest city of Finland.
History
Helsinki was established as a trading town by king Gustav I of Sweden in 1550.
1809 Sweden lost Finland to Russia in the Finnish War. Finland became an autonomous state of the Russian Empire. In 1812 Czar Alexander I of Russia moved the Finnish capital from Turku to Helsinki.
In 1917 Finland became independent from Russia and Helsinki stayed the Finnish capital.
On 20 May 2014 the Assassin ship Altair II had docked in Helsinki, where the current leader of the Assassins Gavin Banks.
