The Heavy Bow was a bow used in 5th century BCE Greece. It was said that whoever used the bow should expect the arrows shot from it to pierce even the toughest of armors.
As a common weapon, the bow was easily found, whether in the inventories of blacksmiths or in various chests throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes
The Heavy Bow, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, for example the Kythera Bow and the Wolf-Hunting Bow. These are all the recycled model of the Corrupted Soul, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
