Harash (died 1190) was the keeper of the Syrian sect of the Assassin Order, and Al Mualim's second-in-command until his death in 1190. By 1190 however, Harash had somehow decided to join the Templars, and provided them with valuable inside information.
Biography
Treachery and death
In 1190, Harash secretly defected to the Templar Order. The Master Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad discovered his treachery through Adha, after he had rescued her. In order to save the Assassin Order and Adha's future, Altaïr rushed towards the fortress of Alep, the Assassins' temporary headquarters. Here, Altaïr found Harash consorting with a Templar knight, confirming Harash's betrayal. After the knight left, Altaïr attacked Harash, resulting in the latter's death.
Personality and characteristics
While older than most Assassins, Harash was in very good shape and a proficient swordsman. He wore a black robe similar to that of Al Mualim, Assassin scribes and the Rafiq.
Trivia
- His skin model is the same as the Master of the Tower.
- It is ironic that he, being Al Mualim's right-hand man, betrayed him and the Assassins for the Templars, since Al Mualim is revealed at the end of Assassin's Creed to have betrayed the Assassins as well.
