The Griffin's Scythe was a legendary scythe obtained by the misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.

During the 5th century BCE the scythe ended up in the hands of a mercenary in Greece, known under the suffix 'the Patricidal.' Kassandra came across the mercenary and claimed the scythe for herself.[1]
