Gorm & Co was a dockers business in the East End of London, England.
History
On 7 September, 1940, both English business partners Eddie Gorm and Stan met with potential customers Jack Turpin and Robert Burton about stealing a case from a group of French people for £1,000. However, Eddie politely refused the offer and turned Burton and Turpin down. After they left, Stan and Eddie talked about their financial issues due to World War II, but Gorm remained adamant on not taking jobs from gangsters before leaving for the day.[1]
