The Gorgoneion Xiphos was a legendary xiphos inspired by the Gorgons, creatures in Greek mythology.
During the Peloponnesian War, the xiphos was in the possession of the Hydra, the Sage of the Gods of the Aegean Sea branch of the Cult of Kosmos. the Spartan misthios Kassandra obtained the xiphos after eliminating the Hydra and his ship Hyperion in the Aegean Sea.[1]
