Goliath (died 10th century BCE) was a giant Philistine warrior.
Biography
During the 10th century BCE, Goliath fought in Saul's army to invade Israel. When the Israelites made camp in the Valley of Elah, he was killed by David, a wielder of the Shroud of Eden, who would go down to become the King of Israel.[1]
Legacy
In 2012, Goliath was included in the Glyph puzzles the late Assassin Clay Kaczmarek had left behind in the Animus as messages for his successor Desmond Miles to decipher. Desmond later did in September of that year.[2] Desmond solved this puzzle, which was part of a set titled "Keep On Seeking, And You Will Find" which suggested that David possessed a Shroud of Eden. Goliath was included in the accompanying painting, David and Goliath by Guido Reni.[1]
