Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (1463 – 1494) was an Italian humanist philosopher of the early Renaissance and the author of several occultist writings.

Pico worked under the patronage of the leader of Florence, Lorenzo de' Medici. He was known as a freethinker, and associated with Lorenzo at the latter's Villa Careggi.
