The Galloglach Helm was a type of helmet used by mercenaries in Ireland during the 9th century.
During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this helm from a chest in Halstead Outpost, Essexe. She would also acquire the other pieces belonging to the same set of armor.[1]
