The Frying Pan was a pub in East End of London. During the late 1880s, it was regularly frequented by prostitutes such as Nellie. Both the Assassin Jacob Frye[1] and Inspector Frederick Abberline of the Metropolitan Police Service were familiar with the place as well.[2]
