Frederick Philipse (born Frederick Flypsen; 1626 – 23 December 1702) was a wealthy Dutch landowner of New Netherland.

When the British took over the colony, Philipse swore allegiance to the crown, and was rewarded with a title and manorship. He settled in North Tarrytown, commonly known as Sleepy Hollow, and ordered the construction of the Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow.
