Francesco Talenti (c. 1300 – aft. 1369) was a Tuscan architect and sculptor who worked mainly in Florence after 1351.
He was known for finishing the Campanile part of the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore first started by Giotto di Bondone and later Andrea Pisano. When completed in 1348, Francesco deviated from Giotto's original plan in his design of the three uppers floors, which he enlarged to match the previous according to perspective when seen from below.[1]
He also worked with Benci de Cione to design the Loggia dei Lanzi on the Piazza della Signoria.[2][3]
