The Fort of Praisai

The Fort of Praisai was a fort within Zarax Point in Lakonia, Greece. Found on a hill in the middle of the region, this fort was used to spot enemy ships and protect the eastern side of the region. It was occupied by a sizeable military force.[1] During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra travelled to this fort when she was tasked by King Pausanias of Sparta to cull rogue krypteia, one of whom was stationed at the fort.[2]
