Aleksandr Ilyich Ulyanov (Russian: Алекса́ндр Ильи́ч Улья́нов; April 12, 1866 – May 20, 1887) was a Russian revolutionary and older brother of Vladimir Lenin.

Aleksander was a member of the Russian sect of the Order of Assassins and a personal friend of Nikolai Orelov. However, he taken prisoner after an assassination attempt on Tsar Alexander III and was later hanged, with Nikolai watching from the crowd.[1]
